Finesse was born and raised in the DC area since the early 80s. She grew up in the hip hop culture and wanted to become a rapper at the age of 8. She credits Nas and MC Lyte as her influences. Her style is based on real life experiences and storytelling. Finesse writes and producers her own songs all while remaining true to the art.
