Collaborators on this song are her partner and guitarist, Mike McGinn, sound engineer for Bob Weir, and general mad scientist, and Jay Lane, Bob's drummer. Astor Riots take their inspiration from the likes of Lou Reed and Gillian Welch. Person/Serpent is a song written about the tragic loss of our dear friend Chris, a genius bassist with a kind and goofy soul, who lost his battle with addiction.
